i am living in a home were the owner lost the home due to non payment so the bank is taking it and we have a week to move well i was not given notice in writing about this at all and i am a renter there with a lease but i havent paid rent recently due to the harrassment from the owner. a lady came from the bank looking for the owner and said that they wanted him to vacate or even offer him money to leave. is this procedure in this type of situation. and should i be given some sort of money to leave prior to my them issuing an eviction notice in my name

You might be in such a position. If you don't reach an agreement with the bank, the bank can start legal proceedings to evict you. Depending on where you live, evicting a tenant from before the foreclosure can be a difficult proposition for the bank, but not impossible. See what you can work out with the bank.

You cannot be evicted except by unlawful detainer. But, the foreclosure cancels your lease. They don't have to pay you anything.
