Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Real estate partnership dispute- partner won't sell.

I own 50% of a property with 1

partner. I have wanted to sell for

several years, but my partner

refused. Now my partner threatens

to stop paying, which could force the

property into foreclosure (I cannot

afford the full mortgage myself). My

partner will not agree to sell unless I

agree to pay a large fee for 'hardship'.

I am confident that this 'hardship' fee

is unfounded. What are my recourses

to avoid this property being

foreclosed? Thank you.

You must file a partition action immediately. He is taking unfair advantage in demanding a fee. Contact me directly.
