Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Real Estate/Rental

My roommate and I have a rental lease that is up May 1, 07, we have paid our rent to our Landlord mailed to the P.O. Box on our lease.

Our rent checks have gone uncashed for almost three months and have not heard from our Landlord since February 7, 07. I have made many attempts to contact him but to no avail. And to top all of this off, I have been receiving in our mailbox, lots of mail addressed to him (the owner) regarding not going into foreclosure. Please help, I am totally confused about this situation.

Thank you so much.

Re: Real Estate/Rental

You could contact the police and make a missing person report. It is strange that the property owner is not cashing the rent checks and now the property appears to be in the process of being foreclosed.
