Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
Real Property & Lien
Can a California property be put up for sale even though there is a judgment of $4500 against it? or does it have to be paid off first before put on the market.

Yes. The lien will probably have to be paid off at close of escrow, since a buyer has a right to receive title clear of all liens.
