Unlawful detainer (eviction) cases are matters that the courts handle at a quicker pace than other civil matters. This is due to the nature of the ownership rights being exercised by the landlord; while assuring to provide the tenant with their rights to be heard in court. Therefore, you need to have a competent attorney that knows what are your rights as a tenant are, in your particular matter.
