Now let's define accidentally. Your question leaves so many more questions than the ability to answer it. It is quite intriguing and I'm sure you've got many excuses. I'm not so sure you do need to file a lawsuit but before either myself or anyone else can tell you what the procedures might be there are far too many questions that have to be answered. My immediate advice is, get yourself in attorney who can represent you in this situation, not like you did not by accident before. Accidents might happen but good business judgment precludes accidents.I have been practicing law in this legal area for over 30 years and understand your problem well. I practice in the S.F. Bay Area and if you wish to contact me call at 925-945-6000.
Re: Reconveyances
How long ago was it recorded? There might be some administrative steps you can take, but it will depend on the facts, timing and who the beneficiary or trustee of the deed of trust is.
