Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Remove tenant from premises

On July 6th I informed tenant that she would have to move from my house, because I needed to let my daughter move in, I informed her that would be mid-August. On July 29 I told her she could stay until August 21st, so that she would have part of a weekend to move, and I informed her the cost of the rent for the month of August. On August 3rd, her mother sends me a e-mails me a note telling me that her daughter found a place, but that she couldn't move until Sept 4th and could she store her stuff in the gargage, and that if she couldn't there would be no hard feelings. I asked my daughter if it would be okay and she said no, that she was moving from a two car garage to a one car garage. So then on August 11, the mother again sends me an e-mail telling of all the costs that she will occur and that she can't move her daughter out until Sept 4th. I won't go back and forth with all the discussions in between, but they are not nice. Anyway my question is, can I get her out of my house by August 22nd? She paid rent only through August 21, with the intentions of moving on that date.
