rental deposit

can I charge the tenant for a broken toilet seat? it is broken at the part that is attached to the toilet , probably from being old. patching holes, cleaning of the house and rug cleaning, fixing the sink where it is missing the stopper.

Generally, you cannot charge a tenant for "normal wear and tear." However, it would depend upon how long the tenant resided at the premises, and the condition of the premises at the beginning of the tenancy.
