Rental Dispute
1- I signed a rental agreement that stated $250 of my $500 deposit would be non-refundable for a cleaning fee and that of my $900 pet deposit a fee of $150 would be non-refundable. I moved in seven months ago and have just been given a 30 day notice that my condo has been sold. There has been no damage to the unit and it will be in excellent condition when I move out. Is my landlord entilted to keep the entire amount? If not, how should I attempt to collect?

you will have to go to small claims court. non-refundable deposits are illegal in California. Look in the civil code under the sections dealing with renting property.
