Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
rental legalities
I am looking to rent a space on private property that has no kitchen or bath - the bathroom is located in another building several feet from the ''rental.''
It is my understanding, that in California, this is illegal. Can you advise?

Re: rental legalities
If you believe it is illegal, why are you looking to rent it? I would go to the local building official, and see if the building in question is a legal "unit" which can be rented for habitation. If it is not, don't rent it.
