Renter rights

I am renting a room in a house.I have a 5yr lease!I have 4yr &6 months left.The landlord is my ex-boyfreind. He want me out,and he said now he going to sale the house. I been with him for 6 yr. I am also on SSDI. and very sick!! I live on $655.00 a month!!Now what i want to know if i get a apt to live in does he have to pay the differance from what i paying for the room i am renting now plus my ele-gas bill too. I pay $300.00 for the room. Thank you ,Untell my lease is up!!4yr&6 months

Re: Renter rights

If you have a lease you do not have to move, even if he sells the house. If he wants you out ask him how much he will PAY you to cancel the lease.
