Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
Hi,
Im currently renting my condo unit in Mountain View, and the HOA recently changed the guest parking policy, which was effective immediately. I understand that California law requires that owners be given advance notice before the change is made. Do you know specifically how much advance notice is required?
Thanks!
Bonnie

Your question is a little confusing. It is not clear whether you are the owner who is renting the condo to someone else, or are the tenant who is renting the unit from the owner. I cannot tell if you are asking how much notice the HOA must give the owner before amending the CC&R's or rules, or how much notice you have to give your tenant before modifying the lease.
