Return of rental deposit
How long does a landlord have to return a rental deposit.
Can a tenant be charged for cleaning a carpet when they are clean.

The landlord has 14 days to give you an itemized list of repairs and their costs. The shampooing of the carpet is largely a question of fact. You say its clean the landlord will say it was dirty. If you have pictures of the carpet or witnesses that may help you prove that it was clean.
