Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Rights of a Concurrant property owner

My sister and I inherited our mother's property. She has been unwilling, thus far, to relinquish my portion of our inheritence either monatarily or real. I have learned that we would be considered Concurrant Estate Owners. My question is, What are my rights to obtaining my half? My sister is not willing to buy me out or let me live on the land. I have had the police called on me every time that I have stepped foot on the property. All I want is my share of what our mother left us. Please, any help or information would be greatly appreciated and helpful in my quest for justice.

Re: Rights of a Concurrant property owner

The first thing to do is determine exactly how title is held on the property. Once that is determined, and it is shown that you are entitled to 50% interest, steps can be taken to protect your rights and get the property sold.

Email the address to me, and I will do a title search. Give me your phone number, and I will call you with an answer.
