What are my rights?
My name was on deed of house and so was ex-fiance. but before our breakup of 12 years, the house almost went into foreclosure! we borrowed $ to get it out. he wanted to refinance but his credit was bad. he gets his parents to buy the house, but before they do he takes me off the deed. I contributed to the household. Every year I claimed 1/2 of mortage interest for taxes! He wants me out of the house and claims he's going to sell it. Am I entitled to anything, do I lose my rights if I move out? I heard that his parents did a quick claim? they refinanced and they got approx. 70K. Please let me know. Thank you for your time.

Your situation sounds confusing. If his parents purchased the house, why are you still claiming the mortgage deduction? Are you still a part owner of the house?
Depending on your cirumstances, you may have an ownership interest in the house. If that is the case, you may be able to file or defend an action for partition or quiet title. You should see a real estate attorney and explain the circumstance of this transaction. If you are not on title, they may have the right to evict you, so you will want to see someone as soon as possible.
