Can my roommate force me out of my apartment the same day they file for a restraining order and not serve me then throw away all my belongings?

You can be excluded from a residence pursuant to a restraining order, but you also have the opportunity to arrange with the sheriff to pick up your belongings. If that does not work, you need to raise the issue with the judge.
