Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

security deposit

I recently moved out of my apartment of 18 months.They are trying to charge me to paint the whole place.I went through the apartment and filled in all the nail wholes.We did not paint the wall another color or anything like that.It's just normal wear and tear.Can they charge me for this

Nope, painting the walls in normal wear and tear. Filling the holes was a great idea.
