Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

sellers won't move out at end of lease

Escrow will close June 30th. I entered into a lease back agreement with the sellers for about 15 or less in July to give them time to move. That would give me the remaining two weeks to move in and avoid paying rent for August. Now they say they are may not leave until July 30. I cannot move in one day. Can I get the sellers to pay my August rent due to their delay of vacancy? I based my decision to buy based on the contract stating that they would be gone my mid July so I could move in. What can I do?

If they will not move out you can file an Unlawful Detainer action and sue them for damages for their not moving. This may be enough to encourage them to move out ontime.
