Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Hello,

We are selling our home which is in an LLC (just husband and me.) Are we required to provide personal information to the escrow or title company at transfer (ie, on the Statement of Information)? We have an ex-employee that is making life miserable, doing our best to protect what we have from this predator and it seems nothing is private anymore.

Thank you.

What you should be doing is selling the LLC with the house in it.

Of course, the buyer may not want the LLC.

It might help in dealing with the situation if you adopt the attitude that "LLC XYZ is selling a piece of real estate it owns" rather than "We are selling our home, which is in an LLC." This is a more realistic and legally accurate way to characterize the situation.
