Selling property

I have 6 acres that I would like to split up and sell. How do I go about this? What laws do I need to inquire about in my area?

You must follow the County and City Laws in which the land resides, such as variances - land use. There may also be Federal environmental laws with regard to where your land is located. There are Costal laws. We would have to know where you land is to assist you more specifically.
