Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Served an Unlawful Detainer without being served a 30 Day Notice to Vacate.

I was given a Summons for an UD that has a copy of a 30 Day NTV signed by a representative of the owner of the property which I've rented for 3ys. The NTV states that I was handed this notice, which is not true. I have the appeal/answer paperwork to complete, send and file with the court. Is there any other information that I can use to help me when I go to court to prove that I was never served with a 30 Day NTV? I have always paid rent on time! The owner is trying to sell the property & just wants me out. Thank you.

Re: Served an Unlawful Detainer

Lying about giving the 30 day notice is a common practice. all you can do is tell your story in court and keep your fingers crossed.
