Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

we are going through short sale with investor negotiating with bank. contract states "appliances are as now installed on said property". we purchased new s/s applianes last year and would like to switch them out with white appliances (working and good shape) from condo we will be renting with land lords approval. Can we do this legally?

I don't think so; it seems to me this switcheroo would be a plain and obvious breach of the contract!
