simple child support questions and (abstract) judgement lien

child support: how does compounded interest work on back owed child support? does it stop when child turns 18 years?

I am looking for an attorney I can ask a few basic questions to regarding a judgement lien on my father's home and a few child support questions (in regards to interst rates and basic information on back owed child support). Interest on child support arrears is simple interest. The interest is not compounded. Interest continues to accrue until the support is paid.
