Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

My sister has kept her horses at my mom's house for about a year now. My mom wantes her to remove the horses and my sister is not cooperating. What does my moom need to do to get the horses removed?

What is the arrangement your mother made to allow initially the horses to be there? Does your mother have other horses, a barn/stable for the horses. Perhaps send sister a note saying must remove horses by 30 days or will sell them as abandoned property and include an ad for Craigslist putting them up for sale. Without more information none of us can give a good answer.
