my son signed an prepaid rental listing service agreement and the agent that signed did not disclose his last name only an initial and no license number

You stated some facts without realy asking a question, but maybe this will be helpful: the agent presumably needs a license to conduct this kind of a business trasnaction, and if he doesn't have one the agreement probably can't be enforced against your son, but if he has received a benefit as a result of the agent's efforts he may be liable for the fair value of the services rendered.
