Spousal Deed Change & No Note Change

HELP.....I am seperated (11 mthns). My Husband wants to deed his properties to me; I am not on the Notes. If I agree, what am I responsible for (including but not limited to $)? Please advise ASAP

See my previous answer to your similar question. A shorter answer is that usually this would be considered a gift, but since under the circumstances he has no motive to give you a true gift, you must look for the problems - pending foreclosure, trying to predetermine a property split in a divorce, a toxic spill on the property or ???????

My guess is he owes people a lot of money and wants to prevent creditors from putting a lien on the house. If the house had been purchased during your marriage with community assets, you might actually have a community interest in the house. Hurry to an attorney to review the transactions and your options.
