squatters rights

the sole owner of the home I rent has passed away and turned over her business responsabilites to a corporation,but she still owned the property.I have lived there for 8 months,do I have any kind of squatters rights until the home goes thru probate?

If you mean do you get free rent, the answer is no. Death does not terminate a lease. If you died, your estate would be responsible for paying the rent to the landlord or management company.

You should pay rent to whomever is handling the management of the property. If you didn't have a written rental agreement, you're probably on a month-to-month arrangement. Make sure that you pay on time.
