Stolen Property

My appartment complex has a laundry facility and last Tuesday some of my clothing was stolen out of the drier. I waould say an estimated replacement value would be about $150-$200. What liability does the landlord have. Could I argue faliure to provide adequate security, being that as far as we know, the thief doesn't live in my building? Also, if they do carry some liability, how do I make my claim?

you can try small claims court but unless you have actual proof of some negligence you will lose.
