Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

i am a student tuenting in calironia. i am haveing financal issues, but my rent is due. i am also moveing at the end of the month. my question is, can i use my deposit as my last months rent?

Not legally, as the deposit is to cover cleaning and other damages and is not the last month's rent.
