Can I sue my neighbor's lawn care service for damage to my car? I was standing on the other side of my car and witnessed the entire incident. A lawn mower picked up a large metal rod that was lying in the grass and shot it at the driver's side door of my car, leaving a large dent and gouge. I spoke with my neighbor about it, and she and I both spoke with the supervisor of the lawn care company to explain what had happened. He dismissed both of us, stating that "It's not my fault. There's nothign I can do." He did not even offer to look at the damage to my car.

Turn it over to your insurance company. They will. Over your loss and then sue anyone who needs suing to get reimbursed for what they pay you.
