Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Being sued...Con't...

Thanks for the replies,

Just thought I'd post a bit more info in regards to this matter. The R.E Co., Brk's, etc- were aware of the gst hse not leg permit'd, so was the buyer. It was leg permit'd as ''storage only, was later turned into gst hse. The purc aggrm't shows it is permit'd for ''storage only''. He is also sue'g b/cause he claims he didn't know the prop was not hkd up to Cty Sewer, & had sep tank. Also , says the Init's & Sig's on the Agree't, are forged & Doc's were w/held from him by R.E Co.

I had an Att'y answer the Summ's. but he quit aft the hear'g last Mo. He's not a R.E Att'y, & feels this is over his head. So now, I don't know where I'm at.

See my reply, posted to your previous message, just before you sent this one.

I don't know whey the initial attorney felt over his head. This is not that complicated.

It sounds like you're in pretty good shape, legally. If there was any forgery, this would not seem to involve you, but rather his broker or yours.

I would suspect that the title company put him on notice that the house might not have been connected to the sewer.
