Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Tenant renting bedroom w/longterm guest

The ''guest'' of my tenant #1 was

kicked out of his house. The guest

has been staying for LONG periods of

time inside the house I own, where

the tenant #1 rents a bedroom with

shared access to the communal

areas of the house.

I DO NOT want this guest of my

tenant #1 (I know the guest, he's

lazy, unemployed yet ablebodied!!)

to ''sorta live'' in my rental house!

The other tenant (Tenant #2) who

rents the other bedroom said the

guest spend more time in the house

than Tenant #2 !

What can I put in the revised rental

agreement to circumvent this

extended staying by the ne'er do well

guest? How can I limit the time a

guest spends with Tenant #1

becausde as of right now, it looks like

he's living there!!!!

Re: Tenant renting bedroom w/longterm guest

Many leases contain provisions that say a tenant cannot have a guest stay for more than seven days in any 60-day period or something like that.
