Tenant gets a new landlord.

Mr. Whipple is correct, but that means that the new landlord can give a thirty or sixty day notice on a month-to-month rental, or not renew the lease if on a longer lease. So unless the buyer bought as an investment and intends to continue renting to you, plan to move soon.
