Terminated Realtor Causing Problems
I recently terminated a Realtor who was doing a lousy job of selling my house e.g. not presenting offers, not following up on leads, and in the end, literally yelling at me. I wanted to rescind the listing contract, but the Broker was actually really great, so I went with another agent in the same brokerage, who is now doing an excellent job. The broker actually terminated the first agent after numerous issues with her (not just mine). So the terminated agent, who is not a broker and does not have her license hung with a broker called me and left a message saying she wanted to show my house. I called my current agent who said she would be at the house when the terminated agent showed up. Terminated agent showed, stayed in her car my driveway & then told the current agent that terminated agent's client canceled.
Now I'm fearful that terminated agent is seeking some sort of revenge & that she may show up when I'm not home & use the lockbox to get in. Is there anything I can do about this?

Speak to the Broker, it is their responsibility to take care of this.

Talk to your current listing agent about your concerns.

This seems to be a question for your new agent and/or her broker; with the modern lock boxes I think there is an electronic record of who enters, plus the terminated agend should have surrendered the mag card or whatever it takes to access the lockbox (I'm not 100% sure about the current technology). It may even be possible to program the lockbox to exclude certain cards.
