Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
Re: text message records
Whether the records exist is a question about technology, not law. Assuming that they do, whether you can get them will depend upon many factors -- especially if the records you want aren't your own. You have not provided any information about what records you want or why, so there is no way to give you a better answer than this.

The texts are my own, well sent from and to my wife's phone which is in my name and the records of which I have control of. I'm concerned my wife may be throwing a lot of irons in the fire hoping to find one that will do me in to her benefit as my heir. Do I have a right to the messages?

Without your original message, this makes no sense and is impossible to answer.
