Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Timber Trespass-Statute of limitations

What is the statute of limitations for timber trespass in California? We just discovered that a two to three acre portion of our 120 acre parcel had been logged and cleared and used by our neighbor as a camping site for his RV. By looking at satellite images we can see that the neighbor did this sometime after December 2005. Are we out of luck or can we still recover damages?

I need to hear the details of the facts, but I think you may try. Please contact my office for a free consult. Do you know the value of the timber and the amount of other "damage"?
