Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Timeshare Contract

I have a timeshare contract I would like to get out of. I am willing to just walk away from it, just so that I don't have to continue to make the payments. Is it possible to do?

Re: Timeshare Contract

The word contract ususally means commitment to the terms. You could walk away and quit paying, but they may be able to report you as delinquent or foreclosed, and possibly sue you for the difference between what you owe and what they can sell it for.

Tehy are not nearly as aggressive in selling your property for a specific price as they are selling the ones they have not sold yet.

Maybe, but, can't answer this one without getting a copy of the relevant documents. You'll have to invest in an attorney's review to know your answer. Sorry.
