Based on your Zip code, you are probably the person who expected to inherit a 50% interest along with your mother, and believe you somehow got diddled out of it by your half siblings.

The first question a lawyer would want you to answer is whether there was a will, a trust, or both; anf if there was a will, has it been offered for probate. Title to real estate follows the paperwork, if any, before passing under the rules that apply when there's no paperwork, i.e., intestacy. Are there genuine and unchallengeable documents transferring title? Has there been a probate proceeding? What about this power of attorney?

You should probably contact a lawyer specializing in wills, trusts and estates in your neighborhood, but I'd be willing to take a close look at your situation, without charge, if you send me (directly, off site) full particulars.

It is basically impossible to say at this point whether you are being bamboozled by your kin or whether everything's OK and you just misunderstand the proceedings.
