how can I transfer title of a mobile home held by trustees, when the trust documents cannot be found?

The mobile home is either a motor vehicle or real property, probably a vehicle. I'd start out by asking at the DMV. At the worst, all trustees may have to ask for a court order, but the DMV has procedures for dealing with lost documents that may make it a lot simpler.
