Transfering ownership of mobile home

I'm buying a mobile home from a friend who is, of course, keeping the title until it's paid for. But shouldn't I be named as owner, and him the lienholder on title? How, and when do I do this?

I agree with you. You should be the registered owner and your friend should be the legal owner.
