Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

transferring one owner's half of property

Mother and one of her sons are half owners of property, both of their names on deed (he inherited through passing of father). Can Mother transfer her half of property to her three other sons without consent of the son who's name is already on deed of said property?

Re: transferring one owner's half of property

Yes. A property owner can transfer her portion of property to another, with certain exceptions that don't seem to apply here. However, the son's siblings would take the mother's share, so each probably would have much less of an interest in the property than does their brother who inherited when his father died.
