I have downloaded the UUC1 for the state of California. Where do I mail it??? Customer service has no idea where it goes.

UCC-1s are filed with the Secretary of State. There is a small fee. For instructions, check the Web site at www.ss.ca.gov, then follow the menu instructions for business services and UCC matters. Read the instructions carefully. Making a small mistake in identifying the debtor can invalidate your UCC-1.
