Do i have vacate my residence? if i have not resived a written 30-day notice?

A proper, written three day notice not complied with would result in the landlord trying to evict you. The thirty day notice does have to be in writing so you can not be evicted based upon an oral statement [people often change their mind after they have spoken so a writing is required]. Find out why the landlord wants you out and see if you can reach a compromise

settlement.
