Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

My vehicle was towed (for $350) from a spot that is next to a business that has no signs saying you cant park there. Does the business have to have clearly posted signs in front of each parking space stating that one cant park there? Out of 5 spots, only 3 have signs directly in front. The other 2 have nothing.

You need to provide additional information. If the parking spaces are part of the public roadway, then the business probably has no ability to reserve any of the spaces. If it is a private parking lot, which I assume it is, it would have to be clearly marked as private parking. If the three signs are set up so that they clearly include all five spaces [one at each corner and the third in the middle] you are out of luck. Was there anything painted on the road surface restricting parking? Was it signed as a private parking lot?
