Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
Wells Fargo short sale has returned my funds. They want the buyers side of the HUD. Can they legally have this? What about privacy.

If you enter "buyers side of the HUD" into Google or another search engine, you will find hundreds if not thousands of blogs, etc. discussing the pros and cons of letting the seller or lender see this. There's little I could add to these discussions, and if you read a couple dozen or so of them you'll know more than you want to know about the privacy and other issues.
