Mother die 2 days ago and she name my brother and me as executor.balance to the house is 42.318 26 I do''nt know what to do.I do'nt what to loose the house.thank-you

You will either need to sell the house to pay the loan or just pay the loan. You may need to open a probate in order to change the name on the property.

The house can be transferred to the beneficiaries through the probate process. The process takes awhile, so get it started as soon as possible so that you limit the number of loan payments you have to make.

You should take the matter to a probate attorney in your area. Fees and costs will be paid from your mother's estate.
