Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
can i win in court mobile home case?
I am taking somebody to court because she bought my mobile home now she doesn't want it and she owns the manager for the rent, she doesn't want to pay and the manager says i have to pay or the trailer is out. I sue her for a small claim. By the way i sold it to her in payments so the mobile home is not paid only some payments. i let a lawyer to check my agreement and he said that i should better make a deal with her to get the key because she has more than a month that left the place but she doesn't want to give me the key.and he said try to get the key and that i should pay the manager and try to sell it again. The lawyer said that if i go to court maybe i ended up paying her instead of she paying what she owns the manager. the agreement basically says where the mobile home is located, the price, the amount she has to pay a month. it says too that if she doesn't pay three consecutive months to me she has to get out and give it to me back. it says that she is responsible for the bills, damages, and any other matter after the date we signed. i do have bills from the manager under her name.plus she made damages to the mobile home. is it true what the lawyer says is better i pay her debt because i my agreement was bad.

Your question cannot be answered without a review of the contract. Since you have doubts about the advice the first attorney gave you then you should get a second opinion. The amount of money involved is sufficient that going to an attorney.
