Are window blinds considered real property or personal property in a home sale transaction?

If they're attached to the home (as most are), they'd normally be considered part of the real property and would have to stay, absent some agreement stating otherwise.

As Mr. Johnson says, the blinds would normally be considered fixtures, which transfer with the real property. If you're using a standard residential purchase agreement from Cal. Assoc. of Realtors, review the section that deals with Personal Property and see if there's a reference to the blinds.
