working with out contractors w/o license

In consumer affairs sting I was asked to give bid on landscaping turned out to be sting. Consumer affairs said it was their house and they called me, before I was arrested I told them I was NOT a licensed contractor. Arrested w/o miranda rights. no contract was signed,bid just given. consumer affairs even wanted me to give neighbor my business card they said he wanted a bid for work

The police do not have to give you your mairanda rights when you are arrested. This need only be done if they interrogate you. You should not discuss this matter with anyone except your attorney. You must have a valid contractor's license to contract for home improvements.
