Legal Question in Securities Law in California
How to find the correct lawyer for my problem
I have questions regarding stocks I owned for a pre IPO Company that has merged with a publicly traded company.
First: How does one understand the category of law the problem falls under?
Second: When one finds a lawyer with the needed practice. How/where does one go to investigate a lawyer's past performance? Which is not limited to just capabilities. But includes breath of experience and ones ferocity in obtaining a favorable settlement.
